Danaé Leitenberg joined the Institute of Social Anthropology in January 2017 as part of the SNF funded Project « Trapped in Paradise ». After having studied at the universities of Lausanne and Neuchâtel, she completed her Master’s degree in Anthropology of Transnationalism and the State at the University of Bern in 2016.
Her research interests lie in the fields of anthropology of migration, mobility studies and anthropology of the state. As part of the SNSF project, she explores experiences of mobility and immobility in touristic spaces.
